Francesca Carington enjoys Luiza Sauma’s tale of an anxious  millennial lured from London to colonise a planet called Nyx in her second novel Everything You Ever Wanted

Luiza Sauma’s second novel is, she says, the latest in a long series of homages to The Wizard of Oz. Iris Cohen, the unhappy protagonist of Everything You Ever Wanted, is lured from grey London to the technicolour dreamland of Nyx, a newly discovered, untouched planet. So far, so Oz-like.
